Obviously, this is a riff on
¡Three Amigos! is a 1986 American Western comedy film directed by John Landis and written by Steve Martin, Lorne Michaels, and Randy Newman, who also composed the film’s songs. The film stars Martin, Chevy Chase, and Martin Short as three out-of-work silent film actors who are mistaken for real heroes by the desperate inhabitants of a small Mexican village under threat from a notorious bandit and his gang. It grossed $39.2 million at the box office against a $25 million budget and has since gained a cult following for its absurdist humor, musical sequences, and ensemble performances.

Rita Frances Dove (born August 28, 1952) is an American poet and essayist. From 1993 to 1995, she served as Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress. Besides her Pulitzer Prize, Dove has received numerous literary and academic honors, among them 29 honorary doctorates (including from Harvard and Yale), the National Humanities Medal (from Bill Clinton) and National Medal of Arts (from Barack Obama). Dove is a member of the American Philosophical Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
